Divide the resin into smaller containers, depending on how many colors you want to use. You might wonder how much mica powder you need to add to the resin.
It really depends on the intensity of the color that you want to produce. Start with a small portion of mica powder first to mix with the resin. Depending on how opaque you want it to be, add a few more. Be cautious of the amount of resin you have. You cannot add more mica than what the resin can hold. Or else, the resin will not cure. It has a very small size which makes it very smooth. Mica powder is ideal for creating projects that require a metallic look because it keeps its shimmer and shine feature after the epoxy hardens. Experiment with the amount of mica powder you want by adding it to the resin little by little, until you reach the desired intensity of color. I recommend that you add more mica powder to get a little darker shade than what you want. This is essential because it prevents bleaching effects once the resin is exposed to sunlight.

Alcohol ink is an inexpensive liquid pigment that is popular amongst choices for epoxy resin dye. That is due to its opacity, while still retaining the ability to be transparent when placed in front of light.
Many creators use this as the pigment of choice when creating table top masterpieces, and for good reason. A little goes a long way. Excited to try the other colors. After combing through the website and lots of internet surfing, I chose this metallic color to accent our wooden bar.
The test pieces worked out perfectly and I am looking forward to completing the entire project to add pics to our next review. I purchased metallic powders from other sources; your powders offer the best color choices and they are very fine and disperse well in epoxy.
Highly recommend.Prathipati Pulla Rao
Our countertop turned out great. Deep color and is awesome. Gorgeous powders. The most fantastic look is when you mix them with alcohol and spray them over epoxy colored with some base color i.
Looks cosmic! But probably any dark powder sprayed over light base would be just as awesome. Spray colors in moderation over base-colored epoxy and leave it alone and let the magic happen Spraying too much you might be taking away from it. Also I used the powders to color clear epoxy itself. Very little amount was needed, maybe teaspoons per quart and I could create custom colors this way.
Completely different and also gorgeous look can be achieved with interwoven base-colored epoxy and a powder-colored epoxy.Yenko silverado 0- 60
I just never was able to use that particular color for spraying, so might just use it for mixing into epoxy and making veins, the color itself is nice! Colors are very unique and saturate epoxy better than powders sold elsewhere online. Ask questions if need be, their customer service is much better than most.
